Monsignor Bernard Leheny

Monsignor Leheny was born and raised in Ireland and educated and ordained in All Hollows Seminary, Dublin, Ireland, June 19th, 1966. He came to the Archdiocese of Los Angeles in August, 1966. He was an associate pastor in four parishes from 1966- 1984; and then appointed Pastor of St. John of God Parish in Norwalk November 19th, 1984. He has served there to the present. Monsignor was involved in the Archdiocesan restructering as Dean in the San Pedro Region and served as Region Vicar from Jan. 1st, 2002, to Nov. 4th, 2004. He will assume his pastoral duties here July 1st of this year.

We also wish to thank Monsignor Sean Flanagan for his Forty-Seven years of service to the parishioners of the Los Angeles Archdiocese and especially his four years of dedication to our parish. We are very pleased that he will be remaining in residence at our rectory and will continue to be a part of our church community.
